This is a temporary position.
The FLEX Manager, Graphic Designer will play a key role in the development and execution of the brand identity, visual identity, print, collateral, and digital marketing initiatives for brands within the Marriott brand portfolio. This role will have a focus on design-heavy collateral projects with additional opportunities to work across brand campaigns when needed.
The role will be a core member of Riott Haus Creative, the in-house creative agency at Marriott International. This role will work as part of a team of creatives (art, copy, video, & design) to produce work that exceeds the expectations of our brand partners.
The FLEX Manager, Graphic Designer should have a well-rounded approach to developing designs expressed through mediums including: Digital, Print, OOH, Social, & Experiential. The job includes hands-on development to ensure that all collateral (i.e., photo-shoots, illustrations, digital imaging and the research of stock photography, etc.) follows both brand and industry standards.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience Required
• 4-year degree from an accredited university in Graphic Design Art, Advertising or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in design work, particularly in developing new visual identities and design pull-through for brand refreshes
• 1+ years of experience with digital marketing and advertising design execution
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
• Experience leading consumer marketing campaigns with a focus on TV, Print, OOH & Social
Education and Experience Preferred
• Experience working with production requirements and outside vendors (e.g., printers, exhibit vendors, other agencies)
• Experience with the travel industry
• Experience with Adobe Workfront
• Experience in working within an agency/in-house agency
• In-depth and current understanding of design trends and industry best practices
• Creative agency, publisher or in-house brand creative experience
• Demonstrated ability to mentor production designers on the team to help them grow their skill sets
• Demonstrated ability to direct/lead designers on mid-level designing projects/campaigns
