As a member of the Global Brand and Marketing team at Marriott International, the FLEX Manager, Project Manager is tasked with managing the creation of award-winning, innovative, and compelling narratives, platforms, and campaigns that drive businesses and brands forward.
The FLEX Manager, Project Manager's role is to establish and manage project workflows to execute client campaigns, marketing collateral and customer-facing content. This may include the creation of new or evaluation of current processes, process enhancements, and process documentation. This role involves project managing production related collateral projects, so past experience with printed and digital creative assets is required.
This role will be an essential part of Riott Haus Creative (the Marriott in-house creative studio), working closely with brand teams to manage the development and execution of marketing strategies that deliver on brand goals. In addition, the role may collaborate with the global marketing, digital marketing, public relations, digital agencies, key hotel stakeholders, and field/continental organizations in managing the content development for owned digital platforms.
All work within Riott Haus Creative is done in teams and the ability to collaborate with other creative partners and non-creative team members is fundamental to the role. The person in this role thrives on collaboration and understands how to partner with the creative, production, and marketing teams.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience Required
- 4-year degree from an accredited university
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.
- 2+ years of experience managing print and digital collateral projects
- Prior experience at a creative agency, media agency or in-house agency required
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly when faced with complexity and ambiguity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple time-sensitive assignments simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to time manage multiple projects and comfortable working in Adobe Workfront (the team's project management system)
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Responsible for project estimating, scheduling, execution and tracking across internal departments
- Monitor and track the deliverables and budgets for active projects and specific project deliverables. Communicate priorities, needs, challenges and opportunities as appropriate to other internal cross-functional team members
- Communicate regularly with Account Supervisors on project status, timing, budgets, and resource availability in collaboration with the creative/production teams
- Coordinate with creative and production leads to ensure resources are assigned and maintaining oversight of resource allocation/bandwidth.
- Manage use of Adobe Workfront to ensure adoption and proper use across all teams and functions
- Act as additional layer of QA prior to account team review to ensure brief was followed, all changes have been made, files are to spec, etc

Maryland Applicants Only: The pay range for this position is $38.99 to $59.28 per hour.
New York Applicants Only: The pay range for this position is $42.88 to $65.19 per hour.
