This is a temporary position.
The Project Manager, Sales Initiatives and Implementation Support is an integral member of the U.S. above property sales team supporting Sales, Channels. Works closely with above property channel sales leadership to activate and pull through sales initiatives and projects for their deployed above property sales channel. Partners with SVP of Sales and Distribution and their direct reports to prioritize and implement enterprise wide or channel specific sales initiatives. Works collaboratively with sales leaders, stakeholders and discipline partner teams to outline specific deliverables and develop best practices to optimize efficiencies. Responsible for delivering and communicating clear and consistent direction and tracking compliance for assigned sales initiatives and projects. Serves as channel subject matter expert between sales channel and discipline partners (e.g., Learning & Delivery, Global Performance Services, Sales Solutions Support, Sales Analytics etc.) to verify content, tools, and programs relevancy. Implements process improvements, standards and best practices. Additional responsibilities may include driving content management efforts (e.g., verify content is relevant, consistent, and updated across various platforms). Serves as communications support to stakeholders and Sr. Leadership. Verifies timely and effective implementation of sales initiatives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required:
• High school diploma or GED; 4 years' experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
OR
2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years' experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
Preferred:
• Experience within the sales discipline.
• Experience in property operations.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a large, cross-geography, cross-business virtual team environment.
• Strong thinking, project management and change management skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects as the same time.
• Focus on Planning implementation and process improvement.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Sales Initiatives Implementation
• Champions roll-out of new Marriott initiatives and required training for the team, as applicable.
• Partners with Sales Leadership to identify and prioritize sales initiatives, establish key milestones and develops implementation plan to support the organization.
• Partners with Sales Leadership to identify sales channel specific initiatives to drive demand in response to market trends, brand needs or ownership needs.
• Develops the project plan in partnership with stakeholder groups and sales leadership.
• Leads execution of sales initiatives in support of the sales strategy to drive revenue for their deployed sales channel.
• Provides direction and guidance to sales teams to drive execution of discipline initiatives and business priorities across sales organization.
• Provides guidance and best practices to sales channel leaders by creating standard processes and efficiencies with reporting and tools.
• Partners with sales leaders to identify best practices to drive top line revenue across the organization and creates framework to share with sales teams across their deployed channel.
• Implements process improvements, standards and best practices.
• Verifies on-going communication is happening in all areas of responsibility to create awareness of business objectives supporting relevant sales initiatives.

The pay range for this position is $35.48 to $57.16 per hour.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
