Job Description For FLEX Senior Manager, Topline Franchise Revenue Services
This is a temporary position.
The Senior Manager, Topline Franchise Services, is a key member of the broader Topline Franchise Services and Support team. The Senior Manager will assist with the ongoing rollout of the Power of M (Digital & Tech Transformation) by leveraging tools & resources to assist Franchise Hotels & Franchise Management Companies in the completion of the deployment tasks. The position supports the rollout of DTT as well as ensuring that the Franchise portfolio is able to continue to maximize revenue performance through the transition. This position will report to and support the Senior Director Topline Franchise Support & Services in defining, refining, and promoting sales, marketing, and revenue management programs & service offerings by delivering a proactive approach to drive topline revenues while executing the task list for DTT deployment. Success in this role requires strategic thinking and change management skills, a proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, and the utilization of data metrics to develop analytical insights to drive high impact focus areas. The Senior Manager will actively partner with our Topline Franchise Support team, the Owner & Franchise Services organization, franchise management companies, and key Consumer Operations disciplines across the U.S. and Canada.
Job Responsibilities
- Serves as liaison between the Business Transformation Office (BTO)/DTT Deployment Team and the Topline Franchise Service & Support team to ensure all communications are timely and actionable.
- Will conduct outreach to Franchise hotels & Franchise Management Companies as necessary to drive completion of task list for DTT Deployment.
- Coordinate with the BTO and both the Topline Team and the OFS Organization for any ongoing issues/escalations/etc. that need support in order to be completed.
- Proactively identifies areas of opportunity to improve process between BTO and Franchise hotels and/or Franchise Management Companies, allowing hotels/FMCs to focus on driving performance while executing the DTT rollout task list.
- Leverages data to implement program strategies and drive effectiveness to optimize performance for franchise community
- Influences franchise partners for adoption of the program services/offerings' evolution that delivers value, demonstrated ROI, and improvement of owner and franchisee satisfaction
- Leads efforts to ensure consistent pull through of enterprise-wide initiatives within US/Canada to maximize customer/stakeholder satisfaction and profitability
- Helps build framework for initiatives to achieve business objectives. Develop creative architecture for discipline-challenging solutions.
- Builds and maintains effective partnerships with all internal and external stakeholders (e.g., owners / franchisees, senior leaders & Topline services leaders).
- Gains alignment with topline and discipline partners when shaping and driving execution of initiatives
- Facilitates balanced decision-making, reflecting needs of the various stakeholder groups and promotes the long-term success of the FMCs and hotels
- Leverages various communication channels to provide business and initiative updates to stakeholders.
- Support the execution of change management efforts for assigned projects
Managing Execution Drive For Results
- Uncovers areas where Marriott topline tools and resources are not being leveraged by franchise management companies, potentially leading to missed revenue opportunity(ies)
- Navigates Marriott's internal organization to pair need with solution or new services.
Strategy Planning and Execution
- Strategically partners with cross functional and cross discipline teams to meet objectives.
- Create and deliver periodic and on-going presentations on findings and opportunities in support of the franchise community.
- Actively engage with internal partners to prepare content for communication materials as needed
- Drives awareness by assessing and identifying gaps and building recommendations based on data findings and stakeholder feedback.
- Consults with topline and account leaders to identify trends, successes, and areas of need or opportunity.
- Influences key stakeholders to facilitate alignment and development in communication of broader organizational goals.
- Leads resolution challenges on business requests that have broader impact and/or risk. Presents alternative solutions and impact assessment by leveraging the broader organization.
- Supports the team in driving overall RevPAR and RPI growth. Reviewing trends and Identify opportunities to drive improved results (e.g. brand).
- Proactive engage with internal stakeholders and partners to continue to foster on going relationships.

Key talents and Experience Desired
- Lodging/Hospitality industry experience across multiple brands; experience within franchising is a plus.
- Experience in providing a team direction and performing responsibilities via influence ability (as opposed to line management authority).
- Possess strong interpersonal, communication and platform skills.
- Ability to work independently through problem solving, influencing and taking initiative.
- Demonstration of leadership skills, particularly regarding strategy, planning and execution.
- Strong Project Management skills, able to manage several projects at once.
- Ability to develop presentations to effectively facilitate meeting and ideation sessions Education and Experience.
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Five years of relevant hotel professional experience in sales and marketing demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
The pay range for this position is $47.35 to $68.41 per hour.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
