Job Description For Golf & Sports Event Executive

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Golf & Sports Events Executive.

As Golf & Sports Event Executive you will be responsible for managing inbound (reactive) sales enquiries for golf and sports bookings, including but not limited to corporate golf days, residential golf breaks, wholesaler golf breaks and various enquiry types for sports teams including football, rugby and cricket.

This role supports overall revenue goals by ensuring a seamless and professional booking experience while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

What you'll do

• Respond to all golf and group sport event enquires across various channels for hotels across the Robin Manco portfolio
• Convert leads into confirmed business and ensuring that all bookings are effectively and properly handed over to the on-property teams post confirmation
• Build strong relationships with Golf Wholesales, Sports Agents and Teams, intermediaries, golf tour operators and event organisers
• Accurately forecasts golf & sport group rooms, green fee revenue & catering
• Proactively cross refer lead opportunities within portfolio for both these segments or other Marriott properties where appropriate
• Prepare and deliver proposals, contracts, and event orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and bookings in the CRM system
• Ensure all group requirements, including room blocks, catering (where possible) and ancillary services are clearly handed over to hotel event management teams to ensure seamless service

With this role you will be working 40 hours per week over 5 days, predominately Monday - Friday day shifts although there may be the need to cover weekends or evenings for showrounds or to welcome your Clients for their event, after all you wouldn't miss out seeing the smile on their face after all of your planning.

This role will be available to start on 30th July 2025, based at Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park, Manchester. You will be employed by Amante Capital, who are the management company for the Robin Manco portfolio of hotels from 30th July.
