Job Description For Pastry Chef de Partie - W Prague

PASTRY CHEF DE PARTIE
Are you a creative force with a passion for pastry and a flair for perfection? As Pastry Chef de Partie, you'll play a key role in delivering sweet WOW moments. You'll craft stunning desserts, support new creations, and bring energy and style into every detail.

This is a hands-on role for someone who lives for bold flavors, modern presentation, and next-level guest experiences.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Prepare and present high-quality pastries and desserts across all outlets and events.

Assist in developing new creations that align with the W brand and guest expectations.

Work closely with the Pastry team to ensure consistency, innovation, and precision in every dish.

Maintain the highest hygiene and safety standards in line with HACCP.

Oversee a pastry station and support junior talent with training and supervision.

Collaborate with B&F, Events, and Marketing teams for seasonal launches and special events.
YOU ARE
Passionate about pastry arts, with a strong sense of creativity and precision.

Up to date on current dessert trends, plating techniques, and global influences.

Calm and organized under pressure, with a strong attention to detail.

A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

Naturally curious, always learning and experimenting with new ingredients and ideas.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in a similar role in a high-end hotel or patisserie.

Culinary certification or equivalent training in pastry arts.

Solid understanding of pastry techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards.

Flexible with schedule, including weekends and holidays.

English communication skills required; Czech or other languages are a plus.
