The Role
The position is responsible for all aspects of the Relicensing process as it relates to the Wyndham Brands, this position will be assigned a region to lead all aspects of the Relicensing process for such territory related to all Wyndham Hotel & Resorts ("WHR") brands. This involves initiating contact with licensees and effectively negotiating, processing, and executing various types of Relicensing agreements (i.e., transfers of ownership, amendments, assignment & assumption, etc.).
This position supports all WHR franchised brands with high exposure to all levels of Brand Leadership and Operations. This process includes initial contact with owners, brokers, and attorneys for the purpose of processing all license agreements and negotiating the terms of such agreements. This position must collaborate with Brand Leadership, Brand Operations, Franchise Development, Legal, Finance, Franchise Administration, and Compliance departments. This role is also responsible for documenting deal activity and forecasting transaction pipeline in an effort to accurately report and forecast room terminations on a weekly/monthly basis.
This position will also assist the settlements team, when necessary. This will include but not limited to making/fielding cash collection calls; resolving invoice disputes/overcoming objections in the payment and settlement process; supporting the Franchise Services team on the relicensing process related to transfers of ownership; and other miscellaneous/ad hoc projects.
What you'll do
- Negotiate and Execute Relicensing Agreements -includes research and due diligence on existing agreements, individual site operating stats and challenges including market conditions, competition, operating stats and renovation costs for transfers, amendments, toa's etc.
- Liaison between WHR Brand Leaders / operations and various internal departments to assist in terms of license agreements/amendments.
- Forecasting / reporting transaction pipeline to accurately report on room transfers / terminations on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Assist the Settlements team with collection efforts, refunds, statements, etc.
- Ad Hoc requests and projects as required by the department.

Required Qualifications/Experience - Bachelor's degree, 1-3 years experience with responsibility that includes financial accountability and superior customer service.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience with Salesforce a plus.
- Hotel experience a plus.

Compensation & Benefits For U.S. based positions only, the expected pay range for this position is $66,500-$75,000annually.
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation such as work location, background, experience, and performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
In addition to the base pay, this role is eligible to receive an incentive payment pursuant to the Annual Incentive Plan with a 10% annual target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
