Job Purpose:
Under the general guidance of the Sous Chef, support the seamless running of the kitchen, by maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, dishes, utensils, and equipment.
Duties & Functions:
- Must love and support their TEAM!
- Must love and take care of guests!
- Must say "yes" and "thank you" often!
- Obtains service area assignments at the beginning of each shift
- Ensure that all cooking utensils and equipment are clean, dry, and correctly stored in the designated areas
- Ensure that kitchen work areas are kept clean and tidy, this may include mopping, sweeping, removal of trash
- Ensure that the correct chemicals are used as part of your duties as a dishwasher
- Maintain a clean work area
- Ability to work under demanding an strenuous situations
- Comply with all Health and Safety functions
