Food Craft Institute, Aligarh is an institute of high repute and excellence under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The institute imparts quality training and education in the field of the Hospitality and Tourism Industry.Food craft Institute Aligarh was established through the efforts made by the Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation Govt. of India & Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. For the first 5 years, the institute successfully operated under the Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation Govt. of India. By the year 1988-89 the responsibility of running the institute was taken over by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt of Uttar Pradesh.The Institute had been set up under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in 1984, as an autonomous institution registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and is governed by an Executive Body 'Board of Governor's which consists of the representatives of the Central Government, State Government, and Aligarh Muslim University. At present, the Institute is financed through a Grant-in-Aid by the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh.Mr. Neelendra Prasad Srivastava was the first full-time Principal for the Food Craft Institute since Sep 2017.Academic Programs of FCI were affiliated with National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology and also two of our PG Diploma programs are conducted by the society FCI, Aligarh. Currently, we have 480+ seats in different courses.We also offer short-term training programmes to impart and enhance the skills of the underprivileged section of society. These programmes are sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE INSTITUTE In last 38 years we trained almost 38000+ students with National and International Job Placements. Food Craft Institute, Aligarh is committed to academic excellence in Hospitality Education as a result The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India was awarded the institute with "Best Food Craft Institute for All Round Performance" for the Year 2011-12.
