Shadi Attar Takes the Helm of Sales & Distribution at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre
The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre has appointed Shadi Attar as its new Director of Sales & Distribution.

Shadi joined the property recently, bringing with him nearly two decades of hospitality experience across IHG, Accor, Marriott, and Swissôtel. In his short time at the DIFC landmark, Shadi has already made a notable impact on the commercial strategy, leading initiatives that boosted corporate and MICE bookings, while strengthening ties with the hotel’s top feeder markets.
Since joining, he has overseen a realignment of the hotel’s market mix, driving higher ADR through a focus on premium corporate accounts, luxury leisure partnerships, and strategic distribution channels. He also introduced targeted training sessions to elevate his sales team’s performance, resulting in improved conversion and faster response times for key accounts.
Speaking on his appointment, Shadi said:

Under Shadi’s leadership, the Sales & Distribution team is set to further strengthen the hotel’s position as a benchmark for luxury hospitality in the region.
