Experience Requirements:
The candidate should preferably have 1 -2 Years of experience in a similar role with a 4 or 5-star hotel.
Strong knowledge of Opera or other hotel reservation systems is highly preferred.
Background in customer service or call center handling is a plus.
Job Purpose:
To handle all guest reservation requests efficiently and professionally, ensuring high accuracy and excellent service in line with the hotel's luxury standards. The Reservation Agent plays a key role in maximizing room occupancy and revenue by handling individual and group booking inquiries, confirming reservations, and maintaining effective communication with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer all incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries related to room reservations promptly and professionally.
Process individual and group reservations accurately using the hotel's Property Management System (e.g., Opera).
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room types, rates, packages, and promotions.
Ensure accurate input of guest details, preferences, and payment information.
Upsell higher room categories and special packages to increase revenue
Manage reservation amendments, cancellations, and special requests.
Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue, and Housekeeping teams regarding arrivals, VIPs, and group bookings.
Respond to guest queries and resolve issues related to reservations.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reservations and maintain data privacy policies.
Prepare daily reports and reservation forecasts when required.
Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times
