Job Description
An incredible leadership opportunity has arisen at our five star luxury property in the heart of Queenstown. By joining Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa as Assistant Manager you will:
- Ensure each and every guest receives a personalised, luxury experience during their time with Sofitel
- Assist in the management of the hotel Front Office operation, supervising guest arrival and departures, maintaining our elevated service experience.
- Train, coach and support Front Office team members.
- Ensure effective communication of new and updated information regarding policies, rates and general hotel information to guests and to your team.
- Ensure strict procedures are followed and ensure accuracy in use and a range of accurate reports to meet our operational needs.
- Carry out Reception duties, and from time to time assist in the operation of an effective night audit, if required.
Qualifications
You will harness your luxury attitude , with humble excellence , a distinguished presence , and elevated emotional intelligence . Your pride and passion will be complemented by:
- Previous experience at five star luxury property would be highly advantageous
- Passion for high end hospitality with an eye for detail
- Proficiency in Opera preferred
- Ability to build warm relationships and excellent communication skills
- Current Managers Certificate & First Aid Certificate would be advantageous
- Immaculate grooming and personal presentation
- Full Driver's License preferred
