What you will be doing:

• To assist the kitchen team in ensuring that all kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
• To utilise food-handling techniques which are in line with current Health and Hygiene regulations
• This position involves food preparation and presentation with flair for breakfast, lunch and dinner for A la Carte, room service.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards.
• Demonstrate commitment to customer service for internal and external customers.

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery qualified preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge and practice of food hygiene standards
• Flexible availability to work a range of shifts and days.
• Ability to effectively time manage large volume workload, to meet deadlines and work well under pressure situations.
• A flexible and resilient approach to challenges
• Ability to work independently.
