Job Description
The Director of Sales and Marketing forms part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the hotel. He/she will oversees and directs all sales & marketing activities with the support of teams including sales, marketing, catering, advertising, and public relations for the hotel and ensures that all activities and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per room occupied.
You will be one of the principal pillars of the hotel, passionately and enthusiastically directing day-to-day activities of the sales & marketing team by inspiring and coaching them to drive results. Further you will drive the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget, the hotel sales & marketing business plan.
As Director of Sales & Marketing you will be involved in forecasting with the Director of Revenue. You represent the hotel at trade shows and major industry events, locally and Internationally, to promote new business and increase awareness for the hotel.
