Job Description
Maintains high standard of all engineering services required for indoor and outdoor meetings and functions.Communicates and follows up on guest complaints as well as complaints from the other departments as directed.Participates and ensures complete success of preventive maintenance program of meeting rooms and function room and related areas.Keeps close track of the performance of all electro mechanical equipment within the hotel and the respective working areas.Maintains logged records of all equipment as directed by the assistant engineering manager.Does a daily walk around the meeting room and function room to ensure good working condition and corrective action is taken accordingly.Makes sure that all materials needed to perform the jobs are available prior to work commencing.Ensures that all materials needed to perform the jobs are available prior to work commencing.Ensures that engineering area is safe, kept clean and in an orderly manner. Keeps close coordination with other engineering staff for smooth operation.Participates in departmental meetings and training etc.Assists in energy conservation programme, follows up with banquet staff to save electricity and air conditioning when meetings are over.To predict that all activities and to be purchased all equipment and belongings may create disease for the environment, to join all activities which is organized to protect biological diversity and shares the responsibilities, shares the individual responsibilities in order to increase environment knowledge and to carry on necessary trainings. To provide minimum consumption currently used all stuffs and equipment (paper, printed out etc.).To implement necessary warnings and departmental trainings in order to save energy inside the facility. To carry on implementing decisions which were taken for saving energy. To predict effects of environment and efficiency of energy on purchased equipment.To implement his responsibilities in order to eliminate and collect waste in a proper way, reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects to the environment.To provide carrying chemicals safely, carrying, storing and using in accordance with laws, controlling reducing chemical dirtiness.Carries out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities.Carries out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description. Qualifications
- Education: At least a technical high school or vocational diploma.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in the related field.
- Foreign Language: Not expected.
- Courses and Training: Prior attendance in courses and seminars in the related field.
- Computer Literacy: Not expected.
- Skills: Adaptability/Flexibility, Stress Tolerance
