Job Description

First impressions are everything! As a Front Desk Agent at Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire, you will be
the first point of contact for our guests. From check-in to check-out, you will ensure every interaction is
welcoming, professional, and personalized-MAKING SPECIAL HAPPEN for every guest.

What you will be doing:

• Warmly welcome guests, respond to inquiries, and provide outstanding service throughout their
  stay
• Handle all aspects of the check-in and check-out process efficiently and according to established
  standards
• Process guest payments and settle accounts accurately
• Enter and coordinate in-room dining orders when required, as well as take and enter restaurant in-room dining orders
• Take initiative to add a personalized experience
• Proactively promote hotel services and amenities, looking for opportunities to enhance each guest's stay through upselling and thoughtful recommendations
• Follow all hotel and departmental policies and procedures, as well as health & safety protocols

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Service focused personality is essential; previous experience in a hotel or similar setting is required and previous experience working at the Front Desk is preferred
• Computer literate with strong abilities in Microsoft Office is required and prior experience working with a property management system, Lightspeed or a related system, is an asset
• Fluency in English with both verbal and written communication; additional languages are a plus
• Ability to work a variety of shifts and days of the week, including holidays and overnights
