Job Description
The Kids Club Supervisor is responsible for leading, developing, and delivering innovative and engaging recreational programs for children, ensuring a safe, fun, and educational environment in line with the SO/ brand standards. This role oversees the daily operations of the Kids Club, manages a team of Kids Club Attendants, and works closely with other departments to create memorable experiences for our youngest guests and peace of mind for their families.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Guest Experience
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Kids Club, ensuring a welcoming, secure, and stimulating environment for children.
- Plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate activities, games, arts & crafts, and themed programs that reflect SO/ brand creativity and the All-Inclusive Collection concept.
- Ensure all activities promote learning, creativity, social interaction, and fun.
- Greet and interact with children and parents in a warm, professional, and approachable manner, providing personalized service.
Safety & Compliance- Ensure the highest level of safety and cleanliness in the Kids Club facilities in compliance with local regulations and brand standards.
- Enforce all health, safety, and security policies, including child check-in/out procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, play areas, and toys to guarantee functionality and safety.
Team Leadership- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of Kids Club Attendants.
- Develop team schedules to ensure adequate staffing during operating hours.
- Coach and support staff in delivering consistent, high-quality experiences.
Administration & Reporting- Maintain accurate attendance records, incident reports, and parental consent forms.
- Manage the Kids Club inventory of supplies, toys, and equipment, ensuring proper storage and usage.
- Assist with budgeting and procurement for Kids Club operations.
Collaboration- Coordinate with Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Guest Relations, and Housekeeping teams to align Kids Club activities with the overall guest journey.
- Support special events and resort-wide family programs, including seasonal festivities, themed evenings, or outdoor recreational activities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare, kids club, or recreation in a hospitality or resort environment; minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Diploma/degree in Early Childhood Education, Hospitality, Recreation, or related field is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English (Arabic or other languages an asset).
- Energetic, creative, and enthusiastic personality with a genuine passion for working with children.
- Knowledge of child safety, first aid, and CPR certification (mandatory).
