About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for maximising the hotel's overall revenue across all market segments. You will be a dynamic and energetic leader, with experience in team performance and development. You will also ensure our revenue goals are met and aligned with Hyatt's strategic priorities, whilst meeting colleague, client, and owner expectations.
Main Responsibilities
• Undertake weekly sales, prospective, and account management calls
• Drive revenue and increase market share across all market segments
• Attend sales trips to key market cities
• Attend major travel and trade shows and corporate functions to promote the hotel
• Work with Director of Sales & Marketing and broader events team to support conversion
• Maintain complete records of all sales agreements, contracts and quotes for the hotel
• Ensure all Hyatt standards relating to sales, profitability and marketing are followed
• Support the Events team in the successful planning and execution of events
• Have a strong strategic understanding of market opportunities and future trends
• Assist with daily management, development, and leadership of a sales team
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Sales Manager role is essential. Experience within a hotel environment is preferred.
• Proven experience leading & developing a team
• High level of both written and verbal communication
• Experience with Envision is highly regarded
• Flexibility around working days and hours as required by the business
