At The Seabird Ocean Resort & Spa and Mission Pacific Beach Resort, part of the independent collection by Hyatt, we believe our team members thrive in an empowered, collaborative, and energetic environment. We're currently seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our team in a seasonal role supporting our resort digital presence and event operations.
This position will primarily focus on maintaining and updating digital platforms for both resorts and their outlets, as well as providing critical on-site support for meetings, weddings, and resort events. This is an in-office, on-property role Tuesday through Sunday, with occasional evening and holiday availability based on event needs.

The hourly rate for this position is $26.78/hr

Core Responsibilities
Site & Digital Platform Management
• Manage and update event calendars, landing pages and site content across digital platforms including:
o WAY
o WordPress event calendars
o Hyatt.com property pages
o Hyatt Personalization Engine
o Hyatt Brand Manager
o ICE Portal
o Third-party listing sites (OTAs, luxury collections, wholesale partners, group listings, compendiums, Cvent)
o Listing management platforms such as Yext for all corresponding publishers
• Perform routine website audits to ensure accuracy and brand alignment across all property and outlet listings, including offers, hours of operation, photography, and copy.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on digital channels by submitting support tickets and working with internal and external teams to implement timely fixes.
• Maintain consistent brand standards and quality control across all digital touchpoints.
• Coordinate and upload updated photography, collateral, and digital assets for websites, Hyatt platforms and third-party listings.
Event Operations Support
• Provide operational assistance for on-property events, including weddings, corporate meetings, resort activations, and special event programs.
• Support the events team with pre-event planning, site inspections, property tours, and menu tastings.
• Serve as day-of-event on-site support for weddings and resort events, ensuring seamless execution in collaboration with the events team.
• Assist with event setup, collateral preparation, guest coordination, and vendor management as needed.
• Respond to inbound phone and email event inquiries, providing prompt, professional, and detailed communication.
• Maintain and update event tracking documents, reports, and digital event listings.
Position Details
• Status: This is a Full Time/Seasonal role, ending ~ mid November 2025.
• Schedule: In-office, on-property Tuesday through Sunday. Flexibility required for occasional evening and holiday events.
• Reports directly to the Area Director of Sales, Marketing & Events and Associate Director of Marketing
Qualifications
• Previous experience managing digital platforms and content management systems (WordPress, Hyatt.com or comparable CMS tools)
• Familiarity with Hyatt platforms including WAY, Hyatt Personalization Engine, ICE Portal and Hyatt Brand Manager preferred
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-driven environment Experience in event operations, hospitality, or luxury resort environment preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
