Description
Perseid, the signature dining experience at Hotel Saint Augustine, is seeking a Food Runner/Busser to support our front-of-house team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless dining experience by delivering food promptly, assisting servers, and maintaining a clean, organized dining area. The ideal candidate is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure dishes are presented according to restaurant standards before serving.
• Assist servers by refilling water, clearing tables, and providing additional guest support as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and surrounding areas.
• Reset tables quickly and efficiently between guests.
• Communicate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth food delivery.
• Assist with carrying trays, stocking service stations, and refilling condiments.
• Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized under pressure.
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer service.
• Ability to lift and carry trays, stand for long periods, and move quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
