Job Overview:

This position requires the ability to inspect rooms after they are cleaned by the Housekeeper/Room Attendant. This candidate should have previous Housekeeping experience as they have to be able to inspect the quality and cleanliness are up to the Hyatt standards, counseling employees, resolve guest complaints, general office duties, etc. This position will occasionally require stepping into a Room Attendant role from cleaning of guest rooms. This candidate must be energetic, detailed and meticulous in following Hyatt cleanliness standards and have great interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

This position works closely with the Housekeepers, Housekeeping Supervisors, and Front Desk. They will be the liaison between Housekeeping and Front Desk for the communication of releasing rooms to the front desk for arrival and preparation of resort guest, owners, and VIP's. The ideal candidate must be a team-player and flexible.

Wage Information:

The salary range for this position is $22.00 to $28.60. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education.

Qualifications
*Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship*

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

• Refined verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.

• 1-2 years of progressive hotel Housekeeping experience preferred

• Prior Supervisory experience preferred

• Service oriented style with professional presentations skills

• Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset

• Must possess the following strengths: energetic, detailed and meticulous in following Hyatt cleanliness standards

• Must have basic computer skills

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
