Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting, and creative individual with a passion to elevate their Marketing career. This person will help create and coordinate hotel activation programming, drive the marketing of Food and Beverage initiatives, and support administrative functions within the Sales & Marketing team. This position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation, coordination, collection, production, supervision and follow-up of promotions and hotel activations
• Own the design of marketing collateral and guest facing communication including but not limited to restaurant and bar menus, Sales Promotional brochures, In-Room communication, Hotel and vanity website updates, promotional flyers, and email marketing.
• Liaise with Social Media and Public Relations agencies to supply information, review content and direct edits ensuring brand alignment
• Assist with coordination of Social Media and Press opportunities.
• Responsible for hotel communication and execution of VIP influencer and media visits
• Involvement in preparation and on-site needs for hotel photo shoots
Qualifications

• College degree preferred
• One-year Marketing experience
• Current knowledge of social channels, trends, and customer behavior
• Exceptional organization and ability to coordinate internally with multiple hotel colleagues concurrently is a must
• Intimate knowledge of the Seattle Region and connections with various aspects of the local culture
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, InDesign
• Effective verbal/written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Effective customer service skills for interaction with customers and co-workers.
• Flexible and able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• 1-3 years administrative office experience preferred
• Event and special occasion coordination a plus
