Located in Downtown Seattle, the Operation Manager plays an integral part of leading the vision of our food and beverage and rooms operations reporting directly to the Director of Operations. We're looking for an individual who embodies the luxury lifestyle experience. An ideal Thompson team member has a desire for creating unique experiences, that can quickly perpetuate a culture of great design and superlative service, with a sharp sense of humor. This candidate will have a passion for exceptional hotel service and who can express that belief in an atmosphere of spontaneity and authenticity.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. You should have an excellent understanding of food and beverage trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements as well as a general knowledge of Front Desk and Housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and manage banquet events, ensuring all client requirements are met.
• Supervise and train banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and setup crews.
• Coordinate with the sales, culinary, and event planning teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Oversee the setup, breakdown, and cleanliness of banquet spaces.
• Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and manage purchasing as needed.
• Be able to flex to other outlets as necessary to ensure efficiency and excellence in service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize operational efficiency.
• Create detailed reports post-event, including feedback and areas for improvement.
