Description

The Sales & Events Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Sales, Events, and Marketing team through a variety of administrative, operational, and client-facing tasks. Responsibilities include lead management, business development support, presentation preparation, customer follow-up, VIP recognition and reservations, as well as exposure to marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career and gain hands-on exposure to the world of sales, marketing, and events within the hospitality industry.
• Coordinate client needs and support the execution of client events and site inspections.
• Maintain organized files, communication systems, and internal correspondence across departments.
• Manage and prepare sales kits, amenity deliveries, welcome letters, and key packets for site inspections and VIP guests.
• Assist in the preparation and tracking of leads, proposals, contracts, and ensure timely and accurate logging in the sales system.
• Coordinate VIP guest reservations, amenities, billing, and internal traces for recognition.
• Handle and respond to incoming sales inquiries; complete conference inquiry forms and ensure appropriate follow-up by the sales team.
• Support sales leaders in reporting, data entry, and various administrative tasks and projects.
• Conduct daily checks of VIP and site inspection rooms to ensure brand and presentation standards are met.
• Assist in planning and executing internal and small-scale client events, including colleague engagement initiatives and property-driven activations.
• Assist in marketing tasks and initiatives as directed by Director of Sales and Marketing
• Provide sales exposure by supporting a small market segment, including handling incoming leads, contracting, conducting follow-up, and contributing to revenue generation goals.
• Participate in miscellaneous projects supporting sales, events, and marketing teams.
• All other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest and client experiences
• Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Eager to learn and grow within sales, events and marketing
• Prior experience in a hotel, hospitality, or events/sales support role preferred
