The Sales Manager is a fully competent individual who has experience in the sales process and function of a hotel. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections, solicits and generates business. Be able to develop and maintain good relationships with Corporate Sales Events and Marketing team. Perform as the driver of all sales revenue and ensure quarterly and annual revenue goals are achieved for the hotel. Will promptly reply to incoming leads, actively and aggressively solicit new catering customers and identify key sales targets in all sectors. Evaluate each piece of event business to ensure business can be properly serviced and fit the strategic business needs of the property.
Primary sales efforts are in Catering, Beverage, Room Blocks and Meeting Room Rental. Must be able to communicate the services of the hotel to gain commitment from the customer. This position will provide best in class customer service to retain clients and encourage client referrals.
