We are looking for an Restaurant Senior Supervisor for Breakfast to join our Pre-Opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open in Q4 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital - and it will represent a key milestone in Hyatt's continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is set to become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon. Located in the center of Lisbon's bustling Baixa district and situated along the main pedestrian road, Rua Augusta, the hotel will be comprised of five separate buildings, including the former offices of one of the major banks in Portugal, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). This central building of the hotel will offer 170 guestrooms, with the surrounding four satellite buildings of the hotel offering guests various private suites to choose from. This unique Urban Resort in the city center will allow guests to fully embrace the locale and experience authentic Lisbon.

About the role

The Senior Supervisor for Breakfast is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the breakfast service in a hospitality setting, ensuring excellent guest experience, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all activities during breakfast service to ensure efficient and timely delivery.

• Lead, train, and motivate the breakfast team to deliver exceptional customer service.

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.

• Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.

• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.

• Manage inventory and supplies needed for breakfast service.

• Assist in scheduling and organizing staff shifts.

• Report any operational issues to management.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of breakfast area.

• Support overall food and beverage operations as needed.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or food service preferred.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle busy periods efficiently.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

• Flexible availability during early morning hours.
