The Role:
Working in our Purchasing department, you will hold a critical role in the hotel. Based in our Loading Dock, you will be responsible for the daily operations of incoming goods for various departments. Your day-to-day duties include, inspecting and examining the quality and inventory of stock, cross referencing incoming stock with invoices and ensuring storage areas are maintained and organised. There will be a decent amount of manual handling involved with this role, so duties must be conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
• Dedicated work ethic, with an eye for detail and accuracy
• Ability to operate in a high volume and fast-paced environment
• Strong multi-modal communication skills - including verbal, reading and written
• Competency in working both collaboratively and independently
• Capacity to operate a pallet jack, lift and move heavy items
• Experience with accounting software systems - highly regarded
• Possessing a forklift license - highly regarded
• Full working rights in Australia, with availability to work early morning shifts commencing from 6:00AM (including some Saturdays)
