This is a temporary position.
Plans, leads and monitors activity efforts related to the Franchise Network Remediation Activation project. Provides program level expertise to manage and track this project in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet. Provides management with up-to-date reporting detailing success criteria compliance and identifies gaps and opportunities for improvement. Responsible for effective utilization of project resources including, capital assets, internal services, etc. Works under limited supervision, but within established guidelines. Adheres to department processes and standards for all deployments. Ensures customer satisfaction, while delivering deployments on time and within estimates.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Required Education & Experience:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
• 8+ years' experience in information technology leadership and/or technical implementation/deployment projects that include hardware/software.
• Proven track record of effective partner/vendor engagement and management.
• 5+ years in a project management role or equivalent time performing PM duties in other roles.
• Ability to travel (up to 20%).
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
• Working knowledge of hotel application suites.
• Experience setting up and using Jira for project management.
• Experience with agile frameworks.
• Experience/understanding of cloud technologies.
• Experience with technology security concepts and functions.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Delivering Technology
• Manage the implementation timeline for assigned deployments following standard project management mythologies
• Maintain communications with co-workers and customers throughout the deployment timeline
• Engage various vendors that interface with Marriott systems prior to and during implementation
• Track and regularly report on status of assigned deployments and other projects
• Provide logistical support for project team members
• Manage and track deployment issues and risks; escalate appropriately to management
• Oversee development and maintenance of project documentation
• Follow-up with team members to ensure all implementation tasks are completed on time
• Generate project forecasts and status reports

• Identifies necessary changes to security compliance posture to protect the hotels from evolving risks.
• Liaise with and escalates compliance challenges with Marriott's Global Information Security Team.
• Demonstrates continuous improvement through metrics of quality consistency and client satisfaction.
• Follow all defined IT standards and processes (i.e. IT Governance, SM&G, Architecture, etc.), and provides input for improvements to the appropriate process owners as needed.

The pay range for this position is $47.35 to $73.51 per hour.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
