As a Day Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and smooth operation of our establishment. You will be responsible for reconciling all financial transactions that occur during the day shift, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Financial Reconciliation:
Review and reconcile all financial transactions, including room charges, restaurant bills, and other services provided by the hotel.
Ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and match corresponding documentation, such as receipts, invoices, and computer records.
Accounting Tasks:
Post charges and payments to guest accounts.
Balance cash registers and reconcile credit card transactions.
Enter financial data into the hotel's accounting system accurately.
Reporting:
Prepare daily financial reports summarizing revenue, expenses, and other relevant financial information.
Submit reports to management for review and decision-making purposes.
Security Procedures:
Implement and enforce security procedures related to financial transactions.
Verify the identity of guests during credit card transactions and ensure compliance with anti-fraud measures.
Communication:
Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk staff, housekeeping, and accounting, to ensure smooth operations and accurate financial reporting.
