Andrew was the owner of the hugely popular Rockwood Theatre in South Africa and executive producer of all Rockwood Productions.
His career took off when he played the role of Buddy in the musical The Buddy Holly Story at the Pretoria State Theatre in 1998 - this after playing Cookie in Return To the Forbidden Planet, in Durban,South Africa with follow up shows in England and Scotland.
Since then,highlights of his musical theatre career include the role of Thomas Crawford in OnsVirJou,Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages and Greaseball in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express, Frank Jnr in Saturday Night Fever, Brad in The Rocky Horror Show and principle roles in Grease and Jon Conway’s Boogie Nights. Andrew also appeared in Janice Honeyman’s hugely successful pantomimes PeterPan and SleepingBeauty at the Joburg Theatre,as well as cabarets all over SouthAfrica, Zimbabwe, Seychelles, Mauritius,Bahrain and Thailand. From 2002 - 2016, Andrew was a regular performer with the Barnyard Theatre, group appearing in over 20 hit productions. He has his own children’s show which ran for two season on SABC1 - which he also composed all music. Andrew has also composed the title themes for TV shows like, #Karakters, The Mic, Mam Sakhile’s Story House and Know Your Story ( all for television )
As a tv actor, Andrew has appeared in major dramas Generations ( SABC 1), The Docket ( SABC 3) and most recently Durban General ( E-TV )
As a presenter he is well known for hosting Crux on SABC 1 and Lifestyle on SABC 2.
In his spare time Andrew is a popular entertainer and activity co-ordinater at the Durban hotels Cabana Beach, Breakers and La Cotê De Azur and Drakensburg Sun.
