ABOUT MYSELF

My introduction Well, I would start by saying that I born and brought up in Pakistan. Worked in various companies in Pakistan and UAE with different line of business like Manufacturing, Trading and Health care. I have started my career from grass root level when I was joiner account in 2008 in Pakistan and in 2012 I have moved to Dubai and joined MGI as an accountant, where I gradually promoted to position of Senior Accountant and my last job was with German Advance Medical Center, I got laid off because of current situation. Why I am saying so is for you to know that I understand Accounts and Finance function and its responsibility towards an organization. I am MBA Finance and gearing up for IFRS Certification. On personal level, I am highly self-motivated, creative problem-solver and result oriented individual, willing to go an extra mile to reach goals and learn along the way. Achievements • Trained and supervised junior accountants to comply with procedures, which helps to increase the department efficiency by 200%. • Redesigned and implemented more effective and timely procedures for reconciling complex bank reconciliation and analysis of critical Balance Sheet accounts. • Implemented corrective measures for ensuring that minor accounting discrepancies do not transpire. • Retrieved a significant amount in past due receivables in less than two months. • Stayed within budget for petty cash disbursement for five years. • Reconciled all inter-company activities for the 2014-2015 calendar years to clear variance of over AED 1,000,000/-. • Revamped the accounting system in MGI Dubai, which ended up in increased efficiency in handling accounting and Finance from scratch till finalization. • Play an active role in successful implementation ERP Software (CANIAS in Meridian Global Fzco) and health care software (Tablet 10 and Cortex), which increased the efficiency by 50%. My Goal My goal is to acquire the skills necessary to train, supervise, manage, and mentor employees, while at the same time increasing technical skills that will allow me to play active role in achieving company goals. Strengths I am dynamic personal who knows how to deal with a situation and manage people. I am one who believes in solutions rather than problems. I strive for betterment. Stick to the standard plus a team player. Weaknesses Procrastination. But this doesn’t mean that I pass the deadlines. From the moment a project or task is assigned to me I am thinking about it and making mental notes.
