As a Hostess, you are the first point of contact for our guests. You’ll create a warm and welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring seamless seating arrangements to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Guest Reception:
Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
Manage the reservation book and walk‑in seating to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times.
Seating & Coordination:
Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
Coordinate with service staff to ensure tables are properly prepared and cleaned between seatings.
Telephone & Reservation Management:
Answer inbound calls, take reservations, and handle special requests (e.g., dietary needs, anniversary celebrations).
Confirm reservations in advance and update the system in real time.
Queue Management:
Provide accurate wait‑time estimates and engage guests while they wait.
Guest Assistance:
Respond to guest inquiries about menu offerings, restaurant layout, and special promotions.
Handle guest feedback or complaints professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
Ambience & Presentation:
Ensure the host stand and entrance area are tidy, well‑stocked, and reflective of brand standards.
Assist with light décor adjustments as needed.
1–2 years of experience in a customer‑facing role within a hotel, restaurant, or upscale café.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality/communication training is a plus.
Experience with reservation software (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) is advantageous.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Poised and professional demeanor under pressure.
Ability to multitask and manage a fast‑paced environment.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic or another second language is a plus.
