Reports To: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager
To ensure accurate and timely processing of all accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payments, collections, and reporting, in compliance with Dubai Golf’s financial policies and procedures. The role supports the organization's financial stability by securing revenue and maintaining customer account accuracy.
Process accounts receivable transactions and incoming payments in line with financial procedures.
Prepare bills receivable, issue invoices, and manage bank deposits.
Record financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and maintaining AR records.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to confirm all payments are accurately posted.
Identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
Follow up with debtors and ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.
Send bill reminders and proactively contact clients for overdue payments.
Verify client payment details and manage incoming funds efficiently.
Generate AR-related financial statements and periodic reports.
Maintain accurate documentation and filing for audits and management review.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Proven working experience in Accounts Receivable or related accounting role.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, credit practices, and collections.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
Strong numerical and data entry skills with attention to detail.
Excellent customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High degree of accuracy and accountability in financial reporting.
This role supports Dubai Golf’s commitment to financial accuracy, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The AR Assistant may also assist in ad hoc finance tasks as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.
