Role and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serves as the marketing leader and brand guardian at the property, working closely with all other departments (Sales, Events, Restaurant, Operations and Revenue Management) and corporate marketing & communications teams.
Responsible for creating, activating, monitoring, adjusting and measuring annual, integrated 360-degree marketing plans that align with the brand standards, the hotel positioning and business objectives.
Ensures consistency of the image and identity of the hotel through management of all internal and external communication channels including (but not limited to) the website, third party sites and social media.
Identifies opportunities to augment current plans through relationship building with local media, business and community partners.
1. Strategic Marketing Planning
a. Develop and implement annual marketing plans aligned with the resort's brand positioning and business goals.
b. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and target markets.
2. Brand Management
a. Ensure consistent and high-end representation of the resort's brand across all channels and materials.
b. Oversee the creation and curation of brand visuals, tone of voice, and storytelling.
3. Digital Marketing Oversight
a. Lead all digital campaigns including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media to drive direct bookings.
b. Manage the resort's website to ensure an optimized, luxurious, and user-friendly experience.
4. Public Relations & Media
a. Build relationships with luxury travel publications, journalists, influencers, and media partners.
b. Organize press trips, write press releases, and secure high-profile media coverage.
5. Campaign Management
a. Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, events) to promote new offerings, packages, and seasonal promotions.
b. Measure campaign performance and adjust strategies for optimal ROI.
6. Content Development
a. Oversee production of high-end photo and video content for promotional use.
b. Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and writers to produce compelling lifestyle-driven content.
7. Event & Partnership Marketing
a. Coordinate luxury events, product launches, and VIP experiences to drive engagement and elevate the brand.
b. Develop strategic partnerships with luxury brands, travel agents, and tourism boards.
8. Sales Collaboration
a. Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with revenue targets and group business goals.
b. Support MICE and wedding segments with customized marketing collateral and packages.
9. Guest Experience Integration
a. Monitor guest feedback on platforms like TripAdvisor and integrate insights into marketing strategies.
b. Promote exceptional guest experiences through testimonials and case studies.
10. Budget Management
a. Manage the marketing budget efficiently, allocating resources for maximum impact.
b. Report on KPIs, ROI, and key performance metrics to senior leadership.
11. Administrative
a. Day to day contact for corporate Field Marketing/Communications teams and social media agency
b. Update all online/offline assets with new information/imagery as needed (on-property, websites, printed materials)
c. Provide ongoing marketing leadership and guidance to Leadership Committee
d. Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting of efforts (cadence TBD per DOSME)
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
• 4-6 years relevant experience in an integrated marketing role (digital, brand, events/PR, general marketing/communications)
• Experience working in a fast paced, digital marketing environment
• Advanced skills in PPT and Excel
• Strong written and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
• Well-connected within the market with the ability to seek and build new relationships to help support business objectives.
