Position : Dispatch Assistant

Department : SAUSAGE KITCHEN

Reports To : Sr. Inventory and Cost Controller

Purpose and Scope of Position:

To be part of a progressive team of committed Logistics team, aiming to provide timely dispatch of

Goods.

1. Main Duties:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Demonstrate initiative at all times

· Strong desire to improve on skills and knowledge

· Ability to produce own work in accordance with a deadline

· Seek own solutions to the minor obstacles that occur from time to time

· To project a pleasant and positive professional image to all contacts at all times

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

· Greeting all customers in a friendly manner

· Getting LPO’s from the office to prepare deliveries for next day.

· Checking temperatures frequently of freezer & chiller to make sure all finished products

In under proper temperature.

· Preparing pickup deliveries on daily basis as per the order

· Printing labels as per the daily production.

· Following FIFO system & arranging finished products in the chiller & freezer as per the products.

· Having Complete knowledge of all SK product codes and product uses

· Writing proper product code & batch number with items weight on each LPO’S to prepare the invoice.

· Notifying production team when supplies or product are needed.

· Working as a team member, assisting coworkers when needed & always Maintaining a friendly relationship

with drivers & other colleagues

· Accepting calls from sales team, customers, and other locations for order of materials, taking, processing,

and preparing orders for pickup or delivery

· Keeping track of inventory of products stored in Chiller & Freezer.

· Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with supervisors.

· Always speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems.

· Preparing & Keeping separate deliveries as per emirates in freezer & chiller.

· Preparing daily work such as schedules as per the daily task

· Preparing HACCP related documents on daily basis.

· Flexible to work for an emergency pickup and delivery of orders any time

2. Ancillary Duties:

In line with the Club’s strive for continuous improvement, you may be requested to participate in various extra activities contributing towards individuals and organizational growth.

Represent the department or a group in various committees, such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental) and Food Committee, Sport Committee or projects. Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider.

3. Quality Responsibilities:

Aware of Dubai Golf Mission, Vision and Values. Will be responsible to apply the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers.

4. IT Security Awareness:

a) Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.

b) Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.

c) Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.

d) All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.
