The Food & Beverage Captain ensures exceptional guest experiences by leading service operations within the outlet. You’ll coordinate service staff, uphold quality standards, and maintain smooth day‑to‑day operations to exceed guest expectations.
Service Leadership:
Supervise and mentor waiting staff to deliver prompt, courteous, and professional service.
Coordinate shift assignments and manage floor coverage.
Guest Relations:
Greet and seat guests; present menus and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials.
Handle guest requests, complaints, and special dietary requirements with tact and urgency.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor food and beverage presentation, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
Conduct regular quality checks on mise‑en‑place, table settings, and service stations.
Operational Efficiency:
Assist in daily inventory checks; report stock discrepancies or shortages.
Ensure all service equipment is clean, functional, and properly arranged.
Sales & Upselling:
Recommend menu items, wine pairings, and upsell premium offerings to enhance revenue.
Support promotional activities and special events.
Training & Development:
Deliver ongoing training on service techniques, menu knowledge, and health & safety protocols.

Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a hotel, fine‑dining restaurant, or upscale F&B outlet.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of international cuisine, wine, and beverage service.
Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
