Seasoned Legal Executive Brings Over Two Decades of Hospitality and Corporate Law Experience to the Growing Hotel Management Company.

RALEIGH, N.C. (September 8, 2025) — Concord Hospitality, the award-winning hotel management and development company currently operating over 140 hotels across North America, announces the appointment of Lisa Cox as General Counsel.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Lisa as our new General Counsel. She brings over two decades of legal expertise with a deep understanding of commercial real estate and the hospitality industry,” said Mark Laport, President & Chief Executive Officer of Concord Hospitality. “As we’ve gotten to know her, our team has come to admire her thoughtfulness and her unwavering commitment to play a key role in our continued growth across all markets.”
Cox joins Concord Hospitality from Camping World Holdings, Inc., where she served as Vice President- Associate General Counsel, Real Estate & Acquisitions. She has held senior roles at several prominent law firms, including Greenberg Traurig, LLP, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where her practice focused on commercial real estate, with an emphasis on hotel management and franchise agreements. She also spent a decade at Hyatt Hotels Corporation as Senior Counsel, where she played a key legal role during a transformative period for the company marked by Hyatt’s 2009 initial public offering, the launch of The Unbound Collection, and the acquisition of the Miraval Group.
“What drew me to Concord Hospitality was how deeply invested the company is in its people, its communities, and its core values. That authenticity resonated with me on a personal level. Concord’s deliberate, values-driven approach and commitment to excellence in quality, not just for recognition, but to be truly best in class,” said Cox. “That is exactly the type of team I want to be a part of and I'm especially excited to join at a time when there is a strong pipeline of development and I'm ready to contribute to what’s ahead.”
As General Counsel, Cox will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters on behalf of Concord Hospitality including regulatory compliance, contract negotiation and corporate governance matters. She will work closely with the new business development team to close and underwrite all real estate transactions, including acquisitions, developments, and joint ventures.
