ATM – Tuesday, 30th April 2019: Dubai’s Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) hosted networking opportunities and industry panels across the first three days of Arabian Travel Market (ATM).
Speaking on a panel in partnership with Expo 2020 Dubai called ‘Attracting the Sustainable Visitor’, Yousuf Lootah, Executive Director – Tourism Development & Investments, Dubai Tourism discussed the department’s ongoing initiatives that support the emirate’s commitment to sustainable development, underpinning the foundations of a low-carbon green economy.
Meanwhile, Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) discussed the city’s position as a key international retail destination at an industry panel session focusing on trends in regional travel and luxury retail.
As one of the exhibition’s longest-standing official partners, Dubai Tourism, on stands ME3110 and ME3140, continues to showcase the emirate’s tourism offerings to the local and international travel trade community, in conjunction with over 300 representatives from government bodies, hotels, destination management companies and tour operators.
