Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 17 February 2020: Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is delivering a unique twist on physics with the launch of its year-long educational program ‘Coaster Lab’. This new initiative for schools is the first of its kind in the UAE and one of many activities taking place in the lead up to the theme park’s celebrations of its 10-year anniversary milestone this November. The program will give visiting students with a love for science the chance to partake in some fast fun and learn about the physics of engineering and technology behind roller coasters.
Aimed at primary and middle school children, the activity-filled day takes students on an on an adventure filled with remarkable experiences and gives them the chance to build ride replicas before enjoying record-breaking attractions at the world’s leading theme park. In the hour-long session led by Ferrari World Abu Dhabi’s specialists, students will three interactive demonstrations where they learn about the science behind roller coasters.
Students will also be treated to even more action-packed excitement for the rest of the afternoon as they enjoy the park’s adrenaline-filled attractions and hop on board the world’s fastest roller coaster, Formula Rossa.
The Coaster Lab program needs to be booked in advance and can be purchased as an add-on to the theme park’s existing school packages for AED35.
