Iftikhar Hamdani Named Game Changer at Arabian Travel Awards 2019
Cluster GM of Wyndham hotels in Ajman honoured for innovative initiatives on sustainability
Ajman, UAE (November 3, 2019) – Iftikhar Hamdani, cluster general manager of Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Ajman, Ramada by Wyndham Beach Hotel Ajman, Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche, was bestowed with Game Changer accolade at the third edition of Arabian Travel Awards.
Hamdani was handpicked amongst the hoteliers and travel professionals in the region, as a result of the trailblazing environment-friendly practices that are being carried out at his hotels. Some of the initiatives that he led include an efficient and effective waste management scheme which reduces landfill submission by 90%, and an urban farm project in Ajman. He was also a regular speaker in various conferences in the region and across the globe, raising awareness on the impact and importance of sustainability within the travel sector.
