The group, led by Mirzo Hafizov, outlines its strategic ambitions, with three concepts set to open in the next three months and a total of ten planned for the next year

November 2020, Dubai, UAE: Orzu Hospitality Group is delighted to formally announce its launch in the UAE, as it outlines its strategic roll-out plan for the months ahead. With three venues scheduled to open by Q1 2021, all located at The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah, and seven further launches scheduled throughout 2021 within the UAE, the team, headed by respected industry leader Mirzo Hafizov, previously part of the renowned Jumeirah Group and the Bulldozer Group amongst other reputed brands, has a bold vision for the UAE.
Orzu Hospitality Group, (Orzu meaning 'dream' in English), is founded on the principles of bringing high quality, unique and authentic culinary experiences to the UAE, drawing on the combined experience and pedigree of the management team and their ability to develop and operate commercially successful concepts. This includes and is not limited to combining gastro eclectic authentic cuisines from Asia together with techniques and local ingredients from the UAE. Digital business solutions are also a priority for the group, introducing completely new approaches to hospitality in the UAE, placing Orzu ahead of the competition.
The first concept to open will be Bramble, a cocktail lounge inspired by the drink of the same name and a tribute to Mirzo's former mentor back in London. The beverage menu has been developed by the Group's creative director, Petyo Kelerdjiev, who boasts an impressive CV working at some of the UAE's leading venues including Amazonico and La Cantine du Faubourg. One of the signature elements of the menu will be the generous selection of Bramble cocktails on offer; each displaying a unique and contemporary twist on the original for an exuberant experience time after time.
Bramble's launch will be quickly followed by ZOR, a concept designed to celebrate the cuisine and heritage of Uzbekistan, spotlighting the exciting and enriching dining traditions of this remarkable country. Located on the Silk Road, Uzbek cuisine reflects the vibrant history of the region, and the centuries-old exchange of goods, culture and ideas with its neighbors. And so, the menu features an expansive array of recipes that have been passed down through the generations, with a main focus on succulent grilled meats and fresh plov, amongst other authentic Uzbekistani dishes. The split-level venue features two licensed, expansive terraces directly overlooking The Palm Fountains; recently beating the existing record for the worlds largest.
The third opening will be AKA, an elite, late-night lounge reflecting the seductive glamour and edgy spontaneity of Tokyo in the 1980s. Entertainment will be provided renowned artists who are masters in delivering immersive culinary theatre and memorable artistic experiences.
Hafizov comments, "I have a long-held, deep-rooted passion for the art of hospitality and a specific love of the culinary industry in the UAE, with its exciting, diverse range of cultural influences. It is also home to many talented chefs and hospitality experts. As such, Im pleased to announce the launch of Orzu Hospitality Group and the imminent opening of three new venues, which I hope will be welcomed as a positive addition to the existing scene. As with the name of the company, Orzu, which means 'dream' in Uzbek, it is my hope to inspire and delight all our future guests."
Bramble is located within the Food District, at The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah. It will open its doors mid-November.
