Burak Ak, former Quality & Sustainability Manager, brings 13 years of expertise to his new managerial role in Rooms Division at the all-inclusive resort Rixos Bab Al Bahr.

Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, 13 May 2025 – Rixos Bab Al Bahr, an all-inclusive resort in Ras Al Khaimah is pleased to announce the promotion of Burak Ak to Rooms Operations Manager.
In this new role, Burak will oversee the front office, concierge and guest relations. He will lead and train the team to ensure exceptional service standards, manage departmental budgets, monitor key performance metrics, and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Burak has been with Rixos Bab Al Bahr since 2022. He previously served as Quality and Sustainability Manager, where he played a pivotal role in promoting environmental awareness and leading the hotel’s sustainability initiatives. His efforts ensured compliance with international certifications, including GSTC, EarthCheck, and multiple ISO standards, such as quality, food safety, environmental management, and customer satisfaction. Among his key achievements, the resort became the first Autism Certified Centre in Ras Al Khaimah and the first to earn Blue Flag certification on Marjan Island—milestones that reflect his dedication to inclusivity and environmental stewardship. Moreover, he has successfully managed internal audits, enhanced operational hygiene practices, and conducted staff training programs in sustainability and quality systems. Additionally, he has contributed to guest satisfaction through continuous monitoring, reporting, and cross-departmental collaboration.

Burak Ak is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 13 years of industry experience and more than 20 certifications in health, safety, and sustainability. His extensive career includes key quality and operations management positions at OTI Hotels & Resorts and SGS in Turkey. Burak holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and a master’s in environmental engineering. He relocated to the UAE to join Rixos Bab Al Bahr, where he has continued to develop and excel in his career path.
