Marriott International Expands Presence in Pakistan with the Signing of Multan Marriott Hotel
The hotel is a 160-room property that is scheduled to open in 2023.
Marriott International today announced an agreement with Lahore Regency Private Limited to open a 160-room Marriott Hotel in Multan.
Scheduled to open in 2023, Multan Marriott Hotel will be built on a three acres site at one of prime location in Multan. The hotel will contribute to the demand for hotels in Multan, which continues to grow as an attractive cultural and business destination in Pakistan.
In recent years, Multan has seen a rise in quality hotel demand. Aptly known as the City of Saints, it has become an attractive tourist destination due to its rich heritage. Much is to be discovered in the city from the abundance of sacred shrines and temples, to its remarkable architecture and wealth of delicacies. Multan is also regarded as an attractive business destination in the country, mainly due to its established textile and agro-based industry and its strategic location along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

The Multan Marriott Hotel will feature 160 well-appointed guestrooms, including 15 suites. The property will offer a diverse range of food and beverage outlets including a specialized Chinese restaurant, a pizzeria, a rooftop lounge and an all-day dining outlet. Other facilities at the hotel include a rooftop swimming pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center and a relaxing and sensual spa. The hotel will also be equipped with nine meeting and event spaces including a ballroom which will seat over 1700 people.
Marriott International currently operates two hotels totaling over 500 rooms in Pakistan – Islamabad Marriott Hotel and Karachi Marriott Hotel. The hospitality group will open two new hotels by 2022 in addition to the Multan Marriott Hotel.
