Joining from W Paris Christian brings with him extensive international experience and a great sense for quality and innovation
December 9 2019, United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi: The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, is delighted to appoint Christian Hoehn as new General Manager effective from December 2019. Joining the luxury property from the W Paris where he has served as General Manager since February 2018, Christian has been appointed to lead the team of exceptional Ladies and Gentlemen as they deliver unparalleled service to their guests. He will also spearhead the magnificent transformation of the property, which includes a revamped restaurants and bars offering and enriched experiences under the #RCMemories signature.

Christian Hoehn joins The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal with over 23 years of experience within hospitality. At his most recent position as General Manager for the W Paris, he led the team to great success, significantly increasing the hotel’s revenue and occupancy rates in less than two years.
Of his appointment, Christian Hoehn commented: “I am extremely proud to be appointed as the General Manager of such an iconic property, and I am excited to join the fantastic team that has made this property into one of the leading hotels in the region. Having started his career in 1996 as Demie Chef de Partie in Switzerland, Christian went on to gain more management experience in numerous hotels and resorts across Europe, US and the Middle East, where he was able to foster his passion for hospitality management.
He has previously worked with leading luxury hotels including the W Istanbul, the Mandarin Oriental New York, The Mark, and the Waldorf Astoria Caledonia, Edinburgh, Scotland. Christian also brings with him considerable understanding of the industry within the region, having been Director of Operations at the Hilton Abu Dhabi and General Manager with Hilton in Riyadh.
